French bulldogs are muscular, compact dogs with a snub nose, smooth coat, and quite solid bone structure. Their tails are naturally short, and their physical appearance is characterized by natural bat-like ears that are round at the top and wide at the base. Frenchies range in weight between 20 and 28 pounds.
